District Library Media Specialist, Amanda Eighmey, and High School Food and Nutrition Teacher, Jen Stringer teamed up to offer our elementary students a "book tasting". Library books were selected from various book genres and then students from the Food and Nutrition class decided on the food pairing for each genre. The elementary students then sampled the books and enjoyed tasting some snacks! The Food and Nutrition student then spent time chatting with the students about their favorite books. It was definitely a great "pairing" in every way!
