Indoor Masking Policy
Per NYS all individuals must wear a mask while at indoor school events. This includes spectators, scorekeepers, staff and players. The mask should remain above the mouth and nose and when possible all should try to social distance.
Masking of Players
All players must wear a mask while participating in indoor sports. There is no “as tolerated” provision as in the past which means athletes must keep their mask up during athletic contests. Athletes may not remove their mask and place them below their mouth and chin, if this happens, the coach should sub them out of the game.
Masking of Spectators and Staff
All spectators and staff in the building for the athletic contest must properly wear a mask at all times. Should a mask break be needed they can go outside of the building to remove their mask.
