Certifications Required:
New York State Certification for Teaching Students with Disabilities in grades Birth-2nd, 1st-6th, or K-12
Will give consideration to teacher candidates enrolled in teacher preparationprograms working toward certification.
Job Description:
Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet theunique needs of students with disabilities; Evaluates and assesses student progressagainst instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures andfunctions as IEP Case Manager to assigned students.
Salary: $165.00 per day
