Tower 2020 Dedication

The class of 2020 dedicates this yearbook to a teacher we have known since the eighth grade. Miss Jamie Quinn accepted a position teaching English at Pavilion Middle School in 2015. The
following year she took on the task of becoming the advisor of the freshmen class, her former eighth grade students, the class of 2020. Miss Quinn attended Pioneer Senior High School and graduated in 2010. She then attended Daemen College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2014.

Miss Quinn began her teaching career in Florida but was anxious to return to her home state and her family. She loves teaching and her students. Jamie enjoys spending time with her family which now includes a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law, five amazing nieces, and one perfect nephew. Her family suspects she talks about her nieces and nephew ALL THE TIME. She also takes wonderful care of her parents who absolutely adore her. Jamie’s hobbies are organizing things, reading, cheering people on, the Buffalo Bills, true crime, and drinking Tim Hortons.

The class of 2020 is grateful to Miss Quinn (and Mrs. Orban) for leading us to a successful senior year, even though it wasn’t easy at times. For her hard work, perseverance and faith in us, we thank her and dedicate the 2020 Tower yearbook to Miss Jamie Quinn.

Special thanks to Mrs. Carol Quinn for helping us with this!

Tower 2020 Appreciation

The Tower 2020 staff and advisor are very happy to announce that this year’s staff appreciation goes to Mrs. Korrinna Taylor. “Korkie” as she is known to friends, family and well, all of Pavilion, has been brightening our days as we enter the building each morning. She never fails to offer a cheerful hello and smile even on the gloomiest of days.

Mrs. Taylor is an alumnus of PCS, having graduated in 1985. She continued her education at GCC, then Buffalo State College. Mrs. Taylor received her bachelor’s degree in 1989 in office management. Mrs. Taylor has worked as a firm administrator for a local CPA firm and was the Covington Town Clerk from 1998-2010. She has been a member of the Pavilion Fire Department since 1990 and was awarded Life Member status in 2018.

Mrs. Taylor began her career at PCS in the elementary building as a computer lab and teacher’s aide. In addition to her position at PCS, she is the Secretary of the Town of Covington Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals and bookkeeper for RW Taylor Trucking. Korkie lives in
Covington with her husband Wayne, they have 2 children Nicholas and Melanie. The Tower staff and advisor thank Korkie for her dedication and spirit. She is our first source of positivity for the day and we are very thankful.
