Party Invitations

The development of self-esteem and positive peer relationships are an important aspect of our elementary program. Therefore, students are not to hand out invitations to birthday parties, etc. in school unless all children of the same sex in the classroom receive an invitation. This is to avoid hurt feelings of children not invited. As directed by NY State law, to protect the confidentiality of student information, teachers are not allowed to supply lists of student addresses or phone numbers.
